Health screening: Families complete a daily health questionnaire prior to arrival. Staff conduct symptom checks on arrival.

Immunizations: Child immunization records are required and kept on file. Updates are requested as required by local regulations.

Exclusion policy: Children with fever, contagious illness, vomiting, or diarrhea are not allowed to attend. A return-to-care guideline is provided for each condition.

Medication policy: Prescribed medications are allowed with the appropriate consent form. Over-the-counter medications require a physician authorization and parent consent.

Handwashing: All children and staff wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds upon arrival, after diaper changes, before meals, after outdoor play, and after bathroom use.

Surface sanitation: High-touch surfaces and toys are cleaned and sanitized several times daily with EPA-registered products.

diapering/toileting: Diaper-changing areas use disposable liners and are cleaned and sanitized between uses; gloves are worn if needed, and hands are washed immediately after.

Respiratory etiquette: Teach and model covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow.
